Can I use my insurance for therapy?

Yes, you can use your insurance for therapy if your plan covers mental health services and we are in-network with your provider. Our practice accepts BCBS, Viva, and Optum .

Before scheduling your first appointment, we recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm coverage details, including copays, deductibles, and the number of sessions allowed per year.

What qualifications does my therapist have?

A minimum of a master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field is required. Therapists must hold a valid state license as one of the following:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Licensed Psychologist

Do you offer virtual and in-person sessions?

Yes, we offer Telehealth/online sessions. The client must be in the state where the provider is licensed to practice. For example, if your provider is only licensed in Alabama, you must live in and be in the state at the time of services rendered.

How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last at least 53 minutes. Extended session hours are available at an additional fee and subject to the availability of the therapist.

What are the qualifications of your social work supervisor?

Camille is a graduate of The University of Alabama with both. Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. Camille has over 12 years of experience as a social worker. Camille has served as a clinical therapist for last 8 years with experience in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers and private mental health practice. Camille is an Alabama Board of Social Work approved supervisor. Credentials can be verified on the Alabama Board of social work website under Licensee search tab.
